Requirements Analyst

In the last few years I have worked on Information Management projects as a Business Analyst with ICT company Getronics, in partnership with IBM and ECM vendor FileNet. I understand how data is used strategically by organisations to conduct their primary business activities with customers through my involvement in case management solutions for utilities call centres, financial services organisations, and regulatory authorities. The data they capture must be available for compliance purposes long after the main business process dialogue is conducted.

At Butterfly Software I work in the Office of the CTO to create requirements specifications from storage experts, promoting compliance for organisations who need a fast and reliable approach to data migration.

After obtaining a degree in Information Systems Design, I first went to work for a software house in Guildford, developing solutions for the defence industry and local councils. I then joined Olivetti, who did everything from building their own hardware and operating systems, to selling networks and office applications. I worked for many years on our client site at Abbey, building client/server solutions for the branch network, and designing enterprise solutions to meet the needs of their banking transformation programmes. I often worked with specialised print devices and solved many and various printer problems in my time.

I live in Surrey and help with scouting activities, enjoy photography and railways, and am married with children.
